The European Union stands poised to support Denmark in case of escalating tensions with the United States, as affirmed by António Costa, President of the European Council, in a conversation with Euronews.

Denmark can count on unwavering support from the European Union should its dispute with the United States regarding Greenland intensify. This assurance comes from António Costa, the President of the European Council, the figure who leads discussions among the 27 EU member states. Together with Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Costa represents the duo at the forefront of EU governance in Brussels.

In an interview with Euronews, Costa underscored the EU’s commitment to uphold the principles of national sovereignty and territorial integrity, signaling a strong, united front in the face of potential conflict.
