Beginning February 16, Copenhagen residents will have the chance to elevate their lunch experience as Mother Restaurant unveils Mother’s Lunch. This exciting new offering presents all of the restaurant’s renowned sourdough pizzas for just DKK 100, available during midday hours.
A Lighter Lunch Inspired by Italy
Available Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this innovative lunch concept seeks to provide a delectable alternative to the typical desk meal. Each pizza is crafted fresh to order, with options for both dine-in and takeaway, including gluten-free and vegan varieties.
At Mother, lunch transcends mere sustenance; it embodies a philosophy of quality dining—even amid a busy workday. Founder David Biffani emphasizes the restaurant’s commitment to integrating Italian culinary culture into Copenhagen’s fast-paced lifestyle.
“We want to offer a better lunch option—simple, tasty, and easy to digest—while infusing a touch of Italian food culture into the daily lives of Copenhageners,” Biffani notes.
Pioneering the introduction of organic sourdough pizza in Denmark, Mother remains dedicated to exceptional quality and fine ingredients. Their dough undergoes a meticulous fermentation process lasting up to 72 hours, resulting in a light base that is easily digestible—even during the workday.
