If you have to drop off festival guests at Roskilde Festival, the police urge you to be considerate.

This is what the Central and West Zealand Police write on X.

If you have to drop off festival guests, the police urge you to follow the signs and show consideration.

Already on Wednesday, the Danish Road Directorate warned that there could be heavy traffic in the area when the many festival guests arrive.

Saturday, Wednesday July 2nd and Saturday July 5th are expected to be particularly challenging.

On Saturday, particularly heavy traffic is expected on the Holbæk Motorway from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Køgevej between Roskilde and Tjæreby from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Ringstedvej between Route 21 and Gammelgårdsvej from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In the post on X, the police also remind that traffic police are present.

Roskilde Festival generally recommends that visitors take the train directly to and from the festival site.
