Train traffic is gradually resuming between Odense and Fredericia

DSB can again run trains past Middelfart Station, but only on one track. Therefore, there will continue to be cancellations.

DSB is gradually resuming train operations between Odense and Fredericia.

This happens after the green light has been given for DSB to operate in one lane.

Train traffic was completely stopped earlier this afternoon due to a demolished overhead line at Ejby between Odense and Middelfart.

Even if train traffic resumes on one track, according to DSB’s press service, it will probably be several hours before traffic is normalized.

“We only have one track, and we have to drive at low speed past Middelfart. So train traffic will be affected for a few more hours,” the press service said on Sunday shortly before 4 p.m.

Therefore, it is still expected that there may be delays and cancellations on the route, it says.

Passengers are encouraged to check the Itinerary.
