22-year-old Swedish man charged with recruiting Swedish teenagers for assassination missions in Denmark

The case is one of the first against a suspected so-called facilitator or middleman, who is accused of hiring mainly young Swedes to carry out contract killings in Denmark.

He was guarded by two officers when he was led into the Copenhagen District Court in handcuffs. It was one day in January this year, he is 22 years old, a Swedish citizen, and at the time he was charged with complicity in attempted murder in a case where another Swede, a 16-year-old, was sitting in the dock in the courtroom charged with attempted murder.

The 16-year-old young man was sentenced to six and a half years in prison in March for attempted murder and possession of a weapon after attempting to carry out an attack on the clubhouse of the biker group Comanches MC in Brøndby.
