Boy on scooter in critical condition after collision with car

After a collision with a passenger car in Grenaa, a nine-year-old boy has been flown to hospital in critical condition.

A nine-year-old boy on a scooter collided with a car on Monday afternoon and was flown by helicopter to Aarhus University Hospital in Skejby.

This was reported by the East Jutland Police on Monday evening on platform X, where the police district added that the boy is in critical condition. The car was driven by an 18-year-old man.

The police received the report of the incident at Rosenvang in Grenaa at 1:55 p.m.

Around 5 p.m., the police reported that a child aged six or seven was hit by a car.

Here, duty manager Mikkel Møldrup did not have the full overview of what had happened, as work was still being done on site.

A motor vehicle inspector has been called to try to determine the circumstances of the accident.
