Boys subjected to aggravated scooter robbery at school in Aarhus

The police are asking for help in identifying several people suspected of robbing two boys in Aarhus.

East Jutland Police are asking for help in identifying several unknown perpetrators who are suspected of a serious robbery against two boys aged 15 and 16.

The police wrote this in a press release on Thursday. In it, the police published photos of the suspected perpetrators.

The episode took place at Ellevangsskolen in Risskov in northern Aarhus a month ago.

On May 5th at 5:20 p.m., three boys arrived at the schoolyard, each on their own scooter.

Shortly afterwards they were surprised by four men running towards them.

One of the boys managed to drive away from the scene, but the two remaining were subsequently pushed and later threatened to hand over their scooters to the perpetrators.

Police Commissioner Jens Rønberg, who is leading the investigation, says that it is a case the police are taking very seriously.

“This is worrying behaviour that we will not accept. Therefore, we are very interested in getting in touch with the perpetrators so that they can give their explanation for what happened.”

“We have already taken a number of steps in the investigation, but we still need to identify and contact the men behind the robbery, and therefore we need the public’s help,” he says.

The two scooters are a red Yamaha Jog and an electric scooter from the brand Talaria.

The police recommend that people who have knowledge of the incident or the perpetrators contact the telephone number 114.
