“Children are innocent victims and should be protected”: Danish pediatricians slam the government

Danish pediatricians join the chorus of criticism of the Danish government’s decision not to accept patients from Gaza.

Between 10,000 and 12,000 life-threatening patients are without treatment options in Gaza, including several thousand children.

The local health system has been so badly hit by Israeli bombing that the WHO has urged member states to accept patients on the so-called emergency list. But the Danish government has so far refused to accept patients.
