Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is making waves in Europe with the recent unveiling of its new Dolce by Wyndham property in Aalborg, Denmark. This marks a significant milestone for the lifestyle brand, as it proudly claims its fourth location in Denmark amidst a broader expansion that has seen the introduction of over 60 properties across the EMEA region in just the first half of 2025.
Situated in the heart of Aalborg, the Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg is a prominent 16-storey landmark that has welcomed guests since 1969. In a bid to refresh its offering, the hotel has undergone an extensive remodel, transitioning into a Dolce by Wyndham venue under the stewardship of Comwell Hotels.
Guests can now choose from 198 newly updated rooms and suites, designed with comfort and style in mind. The hotel boasts a range of appealing amenities including a contemporary restaurant, an inviting bar, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and 13 versatile meeting rooms spread across four floors, capable of accommodating up to 365 visitors.
Dolce by Wyndham is already represented in Denmark’s major cities, including Aarhus, Copenhagen, and Odense, solidifying its foothold in the region. Dimitris Manikis, the president of EMEA at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, emphasized the brand’s growth potential. “Dolce continues to shine across EMEA, offering hotel owners a lifestyle brand that combines strong commercial appeal with the unique, experience-driven charm that today’s travelers desire,” he noted.
Manikis further highlighted the significance of the Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg, describing it as one of the city’s most established hotels. Its transformation promises to deliver an authentic and refreshing experience for everyone, from culture enthusiasts and food lovers to business travelers and creative teams.
