Kvægtorvet in DGI Byen Sparkles for Christmas, Inviting Copenhagen to an Enchanting Afternoon
On November 29, from 4 PM to 7 PM, Kvægtorvet will transform into a festive wonderland where the spirit of Christmas comes alive. Children can look forward to meeting Santa Claus, who will be distributing complimentary candy bags, while parents can indulge in warm mulled wine, coffee, or hot chocolate.
As the aroma of warm apple slices wafts through the air from the mulled wine tent, visitors can also savor a delicious bowl of goulash soup served fresh from DGI Byen’s soup kitchen, free of charge, as long as supplies last. For those with a hearty appetite, the Social Foodtruck will be on hand offering juicy burgers, with all profits supporting worthwhile causes.
Amidst the festive backdrop, stalls showcasing handmade Christmas decorations await, with every krone raised going directly to Mændenes Hjem, Reden, and Brugernes Akademi. This is a chance to both support local artisans and bring home a piece of holiday warmth. Additionally, the Fotografisk Center will present an exhibition featuring exciting works by local artists.

16:00: The festivities commence at the cattle market

- Children are invited to enter the drawing competition “Draw Your Dream Christmas Eve,” with a chance to win a fantastic stay at our CPH Hotel for four, including access to the swimming pool and bowling
16:25 – 16:30: DGI Byen’s CEO Michael Stensbøl and Men’s Home CEO Eva Secher will officially welcome the holiday season as they light the Christmas tree
16:30 – 17:00: Enjoy a lively Christmas concert featuring Pyrus, followed by a meet and greet
17:05 – 17:35: Join us for a festive concert with the beloved duo Thomas & Amalie
17:50 – 18:35: Celebrate with the Rune Clan in a heated tent, and stand a chance to win experience prizes worth over DKK 10,000 for the entire family
18:35 – 18:40: Announcement of the drawing competition winner
