On Tuesday morning, police were dispatched to an address in Herning, where they are investigating a suspected stabbing involving a 34-year-old man. Tragically, this incident has also left a 29-year-old man seriously injured.

In a statement released early Tuesday, the Central and West Jutland Police confirmed that they have notified the next of kin of the deceased.

Authorities received an emergency report at 12:52 AM, prompting an immediate response to a location on Gormsvej, situated in the heart of Herning. Upon arrival, officers arrested a 54-year-old man, who is believed to be the perpetrator.

The stabbing is said to have occurred at the home of the suspected assailant. Preliminary investigations indicate a prior acquaintance among the individuals involved. The police shared insights suggesting that a disagreement may have led to the violent confrontation.

As investigations continue, law enforcement anticipates maintaining a presence around the scene for some time. They are actively urging anyone who witnessed events on Gormsvej late Monday night or has pertinent information to come forward and contact them at 114.

Currently, the police have no additional details regarding the ongoing case.
