Novo Nordisk is initiating collaboration to address the changing way people receive treatment.
Novo Nordisk has entered into a new collaboration on Wegovy with WeightWatchers in the US.
The company states this in a press release.
WeightWatchers is also known in Danish as Vægtvogterne, and the collaboration on the weight loss product will take effect on July 1st.
The announcement states that WeightWatchers aims to ‘provide patients with a more streamlined experience along with easy access to FDA-approved medications.’
At the same time, Dave Moore, country manager for Novo Nordisk in the US, says that ‘the way people choose to receive treatments is changing’.
“And in response, we are partnering with WeightWatchers to provide more accessible treatment for those living with chronic obesity,” it continues.
