Police and technicians were present in Ishøj after cannon shots were found.
Ammunition deminers and chemical emergency responders worked together with police in connection with a suspicious incident in Ishøj.
Both the police, the ammunition clearance service and the Danish Emergency Management Agency’s chemical emergency response team are present in Ishøj on Sunday evening after the discovery of cannon fire.
It shows pictures from the place.
At first, the Copenhagen West Police only stated that they had responded to a suspicious situation together with collaborators.
But shortly before 11 pm on Sunday evening, the police announced on the social platform X that gunshot wounds had been found.
“Partners have been called in to handle the gun and the gun was removed and seized. We have no further information on the case,” the police say.
It is not clear from the statement how many gunshots the police have found and whether any arrests have been made in connection with the case.
