The Blues will hold a civic convention to show an alternative to Mette Frederiksen

DD, LA, K and DF will hold a so-called civic convention this autumn to present an alternative to Mette F.

The bourgeois Denmark needs to show that there is an alternative to Mette Frederiksen as the country’s prime minister.

Therefore, the Danish Democrats, Liberal Alliance, Conservatives and the Danish People’s Party will hold a Civic Convention in the autumn.

This is what a press release from the parties says.

“We would like to show the Danes which way a bourgeois majority can move Denmark,” says Inger Støjberg, chairwoman of the Danish Democrats, in a press release.

Alex Vanopslagh from the Liberal Alliance votes in.

“We must show that there is a strong, positive and blue alternative to the gray SVM government. We are in the process of preparing the ground for this, and with the Civic Convention we are taking another step towards gathering forces for a fresh start for Denmark.”

Specifically, the civic convention will be an event on Saturday, September 6th in Fredericia, where a number of ‘insightful’ speakers will give their advice on where civic Denmark should move.

The parties present today’s big issue as follows:

“What unites bourgeois Denmark – and how do we create a positive alternative to Mette Frederiksen’s technocratic and value-abandoned SVM government?”

There is still little concrete information about speakers and the event.

But the four parties have launched a website, borgerligtfundament.dk, where more details will be published on an ongoing basis.

The Conservatives have a clear philosophy that will give an edge to Mette Frederiksen’s Social Democrats.

“We believe in people before the state and in communities before systems, and we are ready to put action behind the words and create a better and richer society,” says Mona Juul, leader of the Conservatives, in the statement.

For Morten Messerschmidt and the Danish People’s Party, the recipe is the same, old line.

“Mette Frederiksen is stuck. We must have a firm hand on immigration policy and prioritize that our elderly are treated properly,” says the chairman.
