The star couple Ana Ivanovic and Bastian Schweinsteiger have – if several German media outlets are to be believed – broken up.
The couple had allegedly struggled to keep their relationship together for a long time, but now it was no longer possible.
Now the major German newspaper Bild can report that Bastian Schweinsteiger has allegedly already found someone else.
The media outlet writes that people close to Bastian Schweinsteiger can tell that the relationship with the new woman is serious, and that a reconciliation with Ana Ivanovic is out of the question.
Bild has shared a photo of Bastian Schweinsteiger from a beach in Mallorca, where he can be seen holding hands with a woman while they stroll in the sand.
Ana Ivanovic and Bastian Schweinsteiger were married in Venice in 2016 and have three sons together – Luka, Theo and Leon.
Schweinsteiger was a celebrated soccer star for both Bayern Munich and the German national team for years, while Ivanovic is a former world number one in tennis and has a single Grand Slam triumph on his CV.
Despite the alleged breakup, Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic still see each other a lot.
They work together as frontmen for the fashion brand Brax. The contract runs until 2027.
