Peter Schmeichel has lost his mother

On Tuesday, the Schmeichel family said goodbye to Inger.
She is the mother of Peter Schmeichel and the grandmother of Kasper and Cecilie Schmeichel. In a post on Instagram, the latter shared a number of pictures from the funeral.
“Today we said goodbye to my grandmother, she has now been sent away – to my grandfather, who left 6 years ago.”
“A beautiful and touching day with beautiful words, beautiful drawings and a lot of love,” writes Cecilie Schmeichel in the post.
The pictures include Cecilie Schmeichel’s daughter, who is making a drawing on her great-grandmother’s coffin, and Peter Schmeichel, who is standing behind the hearse with his grandson.
The influencer describes her grandmother as “a strong and strong-willed woman” and says that she worked as a head nurse in the pediatric cancer ward.
“I take my hat off to her. “That kind of thing requires that you are made of something very special,” she writes and sends a final greeting.
“Thank you for now. Sleep well, grandma, greet grandpa.”
