Politician left incomprehensible after partner murder: “I am frustrated and horrified on behalf of the victims”

On Monday, a woman was shot and killed by her ex-husband, who had a police restraining order against her. This has led many to be upset that an effective tool from Norway has not been used sooner.

Every time Karina Lorentzen from SF reads about a partner murder, like the one that took place on Monday in Brønshøj, she thinks of a specific tool. The so-called reverse anklet.

It is an anklet, a bit like the one you know from prison sentences. But instead of notifying when a person leaves an area, in restraining order cases it is supposed to alert the Danish Probation Service that a person is approaching the person against whom the person has a restraining order.
