The deadline ended today: Here are the ten most sought-after education programs this year

This year, 85,508 people have applied for a degree program via quota 1 or quota 2. Most have applied for a degree in civil engineering.

On Saturday at 12:00 there was a deadline for applications for higher education via quota 1.

This year, 85,508 people have submitted an application by the deadline, according to figures from the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

The search figure covers both quota 1 and quota 2 applicants. The application deadline for the latter was in March.

Here are the ten most sought-after higher education programs this year:

  • Civil Engineer: 4301 (a decrease of four percent compared to 2024).
  • Educator: 4011 (an increase of one percent compared to 2024).
  • Medicine: 4001 (a decrease of three percent compared to 2024).
  • Bachelor of Science: 3719 (unchanged compared to 2024).
  • Psychology: 3710 (an increase of one percent compared to 2024).
  • Business Administration: 3662 (increase of six percent compared to 2024).
  • Nurse: 3348 (decrease of eight percent compared to 2024).
  • Law: 3244 (increase of nine percent compared to 2024).
  • Elementary school teacher: 2527 (increase of three percent compared to 2024).
  • Financial economist: 2422 (increase of ten percent compared to 2024).
