Hidden audio recordings gave Thomas half a year’s salary in compensation for firing

On one of the last days of September 2021, Thomas was called to a meeting with the new factory manager at the cake factory where he had worked for a year.

Thomas had been hired as a production manager, later promoted to production manager. The cake factory was in trouble, and as part of getting back on track, his job was cut. Instead, he was offered the job of quality manager. Thomas was prepared to accept, but the meeting was interrupted when his wife went into labor and he had to rush to the hospital.
