In December 2022, Line Andersen had an unpleasant experience during an emergency shift at a care center in Ejby on Funen. While serving breakfast, a resident with Alzheimer’s reached for Line Andersen’s neck with what she describes as a “dark and empty gaze”. Line Andersen managed to defend herself and escaped with bruises, but got a real scare.
“I didn’t start school after the incident, but tried my internship for 2-3 days, which didn’t work out after the incident,” says 31-year-old Line Andersen, who was a social welfare student at the time and also worked at a temporary employment agency to earn money alongside her studies.
