For the second time on Tuesday, a Penn State player who previously announced plans to return in 2026 has decided to change course.
Wide receiver Tyseer Denmark is entering the transfer portal, as reported by On3. The Philadelphia native, who attended Imhotep Charter, was a redshirt freshman during the 2025 season.
On Sunday, Denmark had shared an optimistic message on social media, declaring, “they lost count tryna count me out, let’s do it Nittany Nation #weback #weare,” accompanied by Lion emojis. However, that post has since been removed.
Safety Dejuan Lane took a similar step, deleting a post that suggested he would be remaining in Happy Valley before also entering the transfer portal on Tuesday.
Denmark, known for his impressive speed and potential over the past two seasons, struggled to make a significant impact on the Nittany Lions roster. Throughout his career, he participated in 12 games, recording four receptions for 45 yards and one touchdown.
Recruited as a three-star prospect in the 2024 class, Denmark arrived at Penn State with plenty of promise.
