New world-class cycling race hailed: “I can’t imagine anything that fits Copenhagen better”
A prestigious world-class cycling race will cost the people of Copenhagen just under 45 million kroner. That’s actually quite obvious, says the Lord Mayor.
The sight will likely bring back three-year-old memories for many Copenhageners.
Memories from July 1, 2022, when metal barriers along the streets of the capital separated tens of thousands of happy cycling fans who had braved the familiar Danish summer weather to catch a glimpse of the world’s best cyclists.
