Man charged with attempted rape: Entered young woman’s home in Kalundborg at night

Police patrol was able to arrest the suspect just two minutes after the report early Saturday morning.

A judge in Holbæk has decided to remand a man whom the police charge with attempting to rape a woman in an apartment in Kalundborg early Saturday morning.

This is reported by the Central and West Zealand Police.

The police received a call at three o’clock from a woman in her early 20s. A man had entered her apartment and had begun to grope her, the chief of police said.

After just two minutes, a patrol was able to arrest a suspect in the case.

The man, who is 39 years old, has been charged with attempted rape, according to prosecutor Louise Varberg.

The man has pleaded not guilty in the open part of the court hearing. However, the judge has concluded that the suspicion is justified and that the man should be remanded in custody until July 15th for the sake of the police investigation.
