39-year-old man admits violence but denies murdering his partner

A 39-year-old man pleads not guilty to murdering his partner. According to police, he admits to having used violence.

A 39-year-old man, who is charged with murdering his female partner in Tranbjerg J near Aarhus, has been remanded in custody for four weeks.

It was Tuesday morning that the East Jutland Police announced that the 39-year-old had been arrested and charged with the murder of a 50-year-old woman.

The woman was found dead early Tuesday morning at an address in Tranbjerg J in southern Aarhus. The 39-year-old man lived with the 50-year-old woman.

The man himself called the police at 4:53 a.m. and reported that his female partner was dead.

Several patrols and an ambulance arrived at the scene, but the woman’s life could not be saved.

The police were present at the address during Tuesday. The deceased woman’s relatives have been notified.

In Viby J, a few kilometers from Tranbjerg J, another 50-year-old woman was found dead on Sunday after she had been stabbed with a sharp object.

Here, a 29-year-old woman was arrested and charged with the murder of the 50-year-old. She pleads not guilty.

On Monday, June 16, a 47-year-old woman was shot dead in the street on Frederikssundsvej in Brønshøj in Copenhagen. A 61-year-old man, the woman’s ex-husband, has been charged with the murder.

The man has pleaded not guilty to murder, but admitted to shooting. According to the man’s prosecutor, the man believes he shot someone else.

The following day, a man and woman in their 40s were found dead in Nørresundby. Police later said that the initial investigation indicated that the man killed the woman he had been living with and then himself.

On the same day, a 55-year-old and an 84-year-old man were arrested and charged with the murder of a 71-year-old woman in Esbjerg. The 84-year-old man was later released, but remains charged in the case.

The 55-year-old was imprisoned after a constitutional hearing. He pleads not guilty.
