A woman lost her life in central Odense on Monday at noon after she was hit by a bus.
The police report the accident, which occurred at the intersection of Albanigade, Hjallesevej and Benediktsgade. The alarm was raised at 12:36.
A bus traveling along Benediktsgade hit the woman who was walking in the crosswalk at the intersection.
The police described the woman as elderly late in the afternoon and added that all relatives have not yet been notified.
A number of witnesses have spoken to the police about what they witnessed, according to the duty officer at Funen Police.
