Police found a loaded gun and an electric bicycle in an apartment in Værløse – two men have also been arrested in the case.

A Swedish boy was arrested in an apartment in Værløse on Tuesday evening by the police, who found a loaded pistol in the apartment. On Wednesday, the 15-year-old boy was remanded in custody. This is according to a press release from the National Unit for Serious Crime (NSK), which states that the boy is suspected of having been hired to commit a murder in Denmark.

A 27-year-old Syrian man and a 28-year-old Danish citizen have also been arrested in the case. According to the charges against them, they were supposed to have “facilitated the attempted murder,” according to NSK. According to NSK, the men were arrested in the Copenhagen area.

The two men had their arrest extended for three days at Wednesday’s court hearing. After that, the prosecution will decide whether they should be produced again with a request for actual detention or released.

In addition to the loaded gun in the Værløse apartment, the police found an electric bicycle that was allegedly used to carry out the planned murder. The police do not know who was allegedly to be killed.

The 15-year-old boy was remanded in custody. He will be held in custody for 14 days while the police investigate the case. NSK does not state how the boy and the two men react to the serious charges.
