Blue plastic pieces have been found in minced beef sold in Netto under the Velsmag brand.
After finding blue plastic pieces, minced beef with a fat content of 14 to 18 percent, sold in Netto under the Velsmag brand, is being recalled.
This is stated by the producer Himmerlandskød A/S in a press release.
The meat is sold in packages of 400 grams.
It was produced on July 3rd and is labeled with the ‘best before’ date of July 10th, 2025 and batch number 250703.
Consumers who have purchased ground beef from the affected batch are urged to discard it or return it to the store where it was purchased.
“This also applies if the product has been frozen,” writes Himmerlandskød A/S in the press release.
