Thibault Klidje Finds a New Challenge in Denmark
Under contract until 2028, Thibault Klidje remains firmly in Hibernian’s plans as he embarks on a new chapter in his career. The 24-year-old Togolese forward has been loaned to Danish club Randers, a move designed to provide him with much-needed playing time and the opportunity to regain his rhythm.
Since joining Hibernian last summer from Luzern, Klidje has struggled to make a significant impact in the Scottish Premiership. Although his appearances have been limited, he managed to find the back of the net three times and contribute an assist in 19 league matches.
From the club’s perspective, this loan is a strategic step in Klidje’s development. Hibernian hopes that his experience in Denmark will not only enhance his skills but also prepare him to return stronger for the upcoming pre-season training this summer. With 22 international caps to his name, the stakes are high for Klidje as he seeks to reignite his career abroad.
