Few people are blessed with this, but nevertheless it happened on Monday at the Danish national team camp at Hotel Marienlyst in Helsingør.
Brøndby bomber Mathias Kvistgaarden was here, who was named Profile of the Year in the Superliga, namely for the first time selected for the A national team and was met by a very well-known figure.

The thing is, father Nicolai Kvistgaarden has been a kit manager at DBU for a number of years.
This means that he has been responsible for all the material for the football association’s many national teams when they have performed in near and far regions. Especially around the final rounds, he has a lot of work to do to pack things into containers so that the players never lack anything.
Mathias Kvistgaarden was the Superliga’s second highest scorer this season after AGF’s Patrick Mortensen and helped secure Brøndby a bronze medal and a ticket to the Conference League qualification.
However, it is far from certain that he himself will help the team into the European tournament, because he seems ready for a bigger address this summer.
“I think I am ready. I have made my mark in Brøndby and in the Superliga, so I am ready to take the next step,” he said in an interview with TV 2 Sport.
First, however, it concerns the gathering with the A-national team, which will face Northern Ireland and Lithuania, after which he will be at the U21 European Championship.
