Johan Kjær Prehn is 20 years old and a self-proclaimed super-nerd when it comes to beetles. In May, he discovered two new species of beetles in Denmark

20-year-old Johan Kjær Prehn doesn’t have a car, so he had to take the bus to a plantation in Southern Jutland when, on the first day of May, he began a month that would feature one of the best decisions he has ever made in his life.

Here he made two discoveries that have earned him much respect within and outside his circle of friends.
