The snow may be falling, the chill may nip at our cheeks, but inside Copenhagen’s vibrant restaurants, warmth and life flourish. Dining Week is in full swing, and for us Copenhageners, there’s nothing better than bundling up, pulling our hats down over our ears, and venturing out into the winter night in search of a fine glass of wine and a delectable meal.
Across the city, these culinary havens sparkle like oases amidst the icy landscape. Behind frosted windows, sauces bubble enticingly, chefs meticulously perfect their creations, and the atmosphere radiates that cozy glow we all crave when snow drapes the streets. With over 330 venues participating nationwide—many right here in Copenhagen—there’s no shortage of options.
Dining Week has become a beloved tradition in the capital. While some head for the slopes in week 7, the rest of us remain in the city, eager to uncover new favorites, rediscover cherished classics, and sample the diverse culinary landscape that our city offers. This year, more than 120,000 patrons are expected to participate, and many restaurants are already buzzing with reservations. Clearly, the call of good food rings loud, despite the frosty temperatures outside.
With prices that encourage spontaneity—DKK 250 for a three-course meal, DKK 350 for five servings, and DKK 525 for an exquisite tasting menu—there’s no excuse not to indulge. For those seeking something truly special, the A Bite of the Stars offers gourmet experiences for DKK 1,000 and DKK 1,500.
Dining Week runs from February 6th to 15th, so there’s still time to join in! Purchase your ticket here.
Bon appétit!
