A right-turning truck hit a 37-year-old woman in Copenhagen on Wednesday morning.

A woman was seriously injured in a right-turn accident in Nørrebro in Copenhagen on Wednesday morning.

The woman was on a bicycle and was hit by a right-turning truck at the intersection between Mimersgade and Hamletsgade. The police received the report at 7:42 a.m., says Chief of Police Michael Andersen from Copenhagen Police.

“There has been serious personal injury,” says the duty officer.

The 37-year-old woman was conscious when she was taken to the hospital’s trauma center.

The relatives have been notified.

The police have cordoned off the area where a vehicle inspector will conduct an investigation. However, traffic can pass.

“Traffic has been reopened, but there are challenges with accessibility at the site. We urge you to be patient,” writes Copenhagen Police on X.
